The restaurant is a spacious greenhouse which is in fact, green, filled with plants and natural light. Each table has its own distinctive plant growing out of a pot, ours was rhubarb.Stunning artwork hanging on the walls by the late Anne-Catherine Phillips.

If I could stay in this room all day if not  necessarily to eat or drink I would be content. This greenhouse had many hints of familiarity with Paul Cezanne' s art studio in Provence. And it was peaceful.

To start, we had Pork Scratchings with applesauce..

and crispy squid with ox-tongue

My main course was Gurnard with Chorizo and Kale but maybe just ignore what I am telling you it is because that does not matter, whatever you have trust me when I say I have no doubt it will be wonderful.

It was a must to have dessert. Ginger custard pie with ROSEMARY ICE CREAM.
