Villages and Cottages

Traditional cottage windows, old brickwork, plants growing alongside the walls. Some cottages had names..

And Christmas wreaths were hanging outside the doors.

Rooftops out of storybooks.

old doors, these are the entrance to Montacute house.

 Gatsby style party held here?

Montacute house is an Elizabethean country house located in a southwestern region of England called Somerset. It is now owned by the National Trust and open to visitors.

Montacute village, rich in history and also home to former known poets and writers.

It is very picturesque and wonderful for a peaceful Sunday walk.
